Victor Ruiz

as Jack Kelly

Hi, my name is Victor Ruiz and I am in the 8th Grade. I have been going to this school for 3 years, and joined the Drama Club last year for our ten-year anniversary show. I stared as Radames with SFA alumni Howa Kamara (who I hope is reading this). Last year was such an amazing experience and I really miss my co-star and my other castmates. They were all wonderful to me and I truly learned alot from them. I am currently playing the role of the tough and hard-headed Jack Kelly in our production of Disney’s Newsies. I hope to attend either Cardinal Spellman HS or Laguardia High School of Music & Performing Arts next year. Thank you to all that got me here & I hope you enjoy the show!

Hi, my name is Marc Rowe and I am in 8th Grade. This is my 4th production in the SFA Drama Club. In this year’s musical production of Newsies I have the honor of playing Crutchie. Later this year, I will be starting my high school journey at Monsignor Scanlan. I have truly enjoyed the friendships and memories made in the Drama Club. I hope you enjoy the show!!

Hi my name is Mallieus and I am 10 years old.I have been going to this school since Pre-K. I am now in 5th grade and this is my first year in the Drama Club. I’m so excited because I have always gone to all the shows, but this time I get to be in it.
Nia Campbell

My name is Nia Campbell, I am 11 years old and I’ve been in the drama club for 2 years. I’m in 6th grade. My role in the play is Specs. Drama Club is fun even though it is hard at times. Mr. Penson is a cool dance teacher and singing teacher. Mr. Sliva is good at dancing and good at teaching us how to dance. My experience in the drama club has been fun. Enjoy the play!
