  • Bernie Weiler

    Bernie Weiler (Director) studied English Literature, Theater and Law at Loyola University ofChicago. He currently practices law as a partner in the law firm of Mickey, Wilson, Weiler,Renzi, Lenert & Julien, P.C. His work as a Director at the Steel Beam Theatre includes GreaterTuna, The Big Meal, Yankee Tavern, It Could Be Any One of Us, Death TRAP, Six DanceLessons in Six Weeks, The Au Pair Man, Don’t Drink the Water, The Savanah Sipping Societyand I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change.

  • Amy Jackson

    Amy Jackson couldn't be more delighted to return to Steel Beam to music direct The Last Five Years after a very successful run as MD in The Lightning Thief. Some of her previous music directing credits include: Into the Woods, 13! the Musical, Charlie Brown, Peter Pan, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and more productions of Beauty and the Beast than she can count. She's looking forward to music directing a children's production of The Lightning Thief at the Actor's Training Center in fall and performing in Steel Beam's upcoming Favorite Things Cabaret in February 2023. 

  • Richard Bingham

    After graduating from Elgin High School in 1984, Richard Bingham prepared for a career as a bass guitarist by attending law school at the University of Virginia.  He has earned an income practicing law in Elgin since 1992, which has allowed him to play the bass from time to time, including in the prior Steel Beam productions, I Love You’re Perfect Now Change (2018), Next Thing You Know (2016) and Fairways (2017).  But for a pandemic he would also have played in Quilters (2020).  He has also worked together with Mr. Weiler writing and playing in the backing band for several of the Kane County Bar Association’s semi-occasional Bar Shows.  Mr. Bingham lives west of St. Charles with his wife and two daughters.
