Strawberry Hill Players

 Letter From The President

Hello!

We are so excited to welcome all of our Dancing Queens and Super Troupers to the Strawberry Hill Players' spring production of “Mamma Mia!”. First of all, this is my last production with the Strawberry Hill Players and I could not be more thrilled and excited to stage manage this production. Out of the many productions that I have been involved with, this one holds a very special place in my heart.

In general, Mamma Mia is a fun ABBA concert, but the show itself focuses on the importance of family, friendships, communication, and love. I am so grateful that all of our cast members, crew members, and production team are giving it their all in order to make this fun and meaningful show come together. I would like to thank every single person involved in this production; all of everyone's hard work is finally going to be seen and appreciated. Working with this amazing cast has been such a pleasure, seeing every single person grow into their character has made this experience so special, I am so proud of you guys!

This production wouldn’t have been possible without our amazing director and club advisor Tommy DeSalvo, who works extremely hard in order to make all of Strawberry Hill Players’ productions come to life. I am extremely grateful towards him for all of the support, guidance, and creativity that he has provided to this production. Stephen Emerick, our incredible assistant director, has made sure that everything goes as smoothly as possible. Ms. Dunn, our awesome costume designer and club advisor, not only worked extremely hard on the amazing costumes that this show has, but also is someone who makes sure that everyone is okay which I truly appreciate. And last but certainly not least, the assistant stage managers of this production, Molly and Liah, thank you guys so much for all of the work you have put into this show. It wouldn’t have been possible without you guys.

Leaving the Strawberry Hill Players has truly got to be the most bittersweet experience that I’ve ever gone through. Even though the thought of leaving is dreadful, I am grateful for the past three years, which have been the greatest they could have been. Finally, I want to thank all of the parents, teachers, and members of the Stamford High community for always supporting our club. And even though I’ve said it a thousand times, I am so proud of everyone, thank you strawberries for everything!

Well, here we go again! Enjoy the show!
