Alan Huang
as Troy Bolton
is currently a sophomore at Syosset High School and is really hyped for this year’s production of High School Musical. This is his fifth main stage production at the high school. You may have also seen him from previous Syosset High School productions such as Almost, Maine (Jimmy), One Stoplight Town (Drum Major), and Next to Normal (Henry). With the challenge of COVID-19, Connor, Mrs. Howell, and Mrs. Pontecorvo as well as the cast and crew have worked incredibly hard to make this high school dream come true, so we hope you enjoy the show!

Sejal Joshi
as Gabriella Montez
is a senior and is overjoyed to be performing in HSM. Although this will be her last show at SHS, she is grateful to have the opportunity to perform during these challenging times. She’s been a part of ACT since her freshman year and is so thankful for all of the amazing experiences she’s had. You might have seen her in some of Syosset’s past productions; I Never Saw Another Butterfly (Liana Franklova), Godspell (Peggy), Almost, Maine (Sandrine), Next to Normal (Natalie). Some of her other favorite roles include; Pippin (Catherine), Bring it On (Danielle), Rent (Joanne). Sejal will be pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre at either Boston Conservatory or MMC. Sejal would like to thank Connor and Mrs. Howell for everything they have done for her during the last four years. She would like to thank the cast, crew, production team and everyone else involved with making this such a special show. Break a leg everyone! Go Wildcats!

Max Bass
as Ryan Evans
is so excited to be a part of High School Musical. Max is a junior at Syosset High School and is very involved in ACT. He was last seen in their production of Julius Caesar (Casca). His other past productions include The Little Mermaid (Prince Eric), Almost Maine (Lendall), Next To Normal (Dan), and Mamma Mia (Sky). This summer, Max will be attending the University of Michigan’s musical theatre intensive program to prepare for college auditions in the fall. He would like to thank Mr. Connor for this opportunity and all the hard work he has put into the production. He hopes you enjoy the show!
