Ethen Hong
as Ren McCormack
As a senior majoring in a Film and Television Studies BFA next year, Ethen Hong is truly honored to share the musical experience once more with a film-inspired show! From his first role as court fiddler in the tragically beautiful Romeo and Juliet, to his most recent portrayal as corporate businessman, Arthur Roeder, alongside the radiant girls of Radium Girls, he is ecstatic to bring a pair of red converse to the stage as members of Syosset ACT invite you to “get back” and enjoy a truly freeing experience!

Emma Zhang
as Ethel McCormack
Emma Zhang has played Mrs. Mooneyham/Snake in School of Rock at Syosset, as well as elementary and middle school musicals such as The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, and Into the Woods. She is ecstatic to be a part of her second theatre production at Syosset HS. She plans to major in Biology and pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

Katie Purdy
as Ariel Moore
Katie Purdy is a junior and is thrilled to be a part of Footloose! Some of her favorite previous roles include Persephone (Hadestown), Fräulein Kost (Cabaret), Cady Heron (Mean Girls), Audrey (Little Shop Of Horrors), Amélie (Amélie), and Brooke Ashton (Noises Off), for which she received a TANY award for excellence in acting. You may have seen her in other Syosset main stage productions such as Chicago or School of Rock! She’s currently attending the precollege program at Manhattan School of Music with a major in voice, and is a recipient of the Josephine Luby Precollege Scholarship. Thank you to her coaches, her teachers, her parents, her amazing friends in the cast, crew, and pit, and of course, our amazing director Mr. Connor!
