Vivian Romero is a current Theatre Arts Performance Major at SDSU, and she’s thrilled to be joining this wonderfully talented team. Some favorite roles she’s played are Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, Gertrude McFuzz in Seussical, Sam in The Mad Ones, and most recently Ilse in Spring Awakening. She’d like to thank her family for their continued love and support.

as Man 1/Racial Justice
Mya is ecstatic to be a part of Songs for a New World after a year-long hiatus from theater, due to COVID-19. Recent credits include Chris Hargensen in Carrie, Motormouth Maybelle in Hairspray, and the title character in the musical Aida. She hopes the show not only enamors audiences, but hopefully opens minds to consider other people's experiences in America might not be similar to theirs.

Chase Lowary
as Man 2/Gender Equality & Sexuality
Chase Lowary will be an incoming transfer student at NYU this fall where he will be studying to obtain a B.M. in Vocal Performance with a Musical Theatre Concentration. Some of Chase’s favorite theatre credits include: Melchior in Spring Awakening (SDSU), Adam in The Mad Ones (SDSU), Beast in Disney’s Beauty & the Beast, and Frollo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
