    Marikay Abuzuaiter

    Marikay, an At Large Councilmember in Greensboro since 2011, brings business and academic experience to her public service. Marikay chairs regional boards and serves nonprofits. Her training includes completing diverse programs such as the Greensboro Citizens Academy. Marikay values interacting with residents from diverse backgrounds and endeavors to assist them with any challenges. Additionally, Marikay cherishes her family and has a passion for singing, having performed with local theater troupes.

    Brooks Beeler

    Brooks, age 19, enjoys family time with his sister Halle and brother-in-law Collin. He loves to travel and have fun, values relationships with his teachers, friends, and Page's HS principal. Brooks just finished his 4th musical, "High School Musical," and takes various classes alongside partner Sue Hurley. He relaxes by watching movies with family and playing with his dog, Lola. Brooks inspires us to push through tough times.

    Michael Beyrer

    Michael is a Claxton Elementary 5th-grade teacher with a Master’s in special education from UNC Greensboro. In 2016, he was named The ARC of Greensboro Teacher of the Year. Michael has acted, mentored, and served as stage manager in Community Theatre of Greensboro’s Onstage and Inclusive program since 2014. He has played various lead roles, including Grandpa Joe, the Cowardly Lion, and Miss Trunchbull.

    Sydni Rose Birnbach

    Sydni Rose is a 19-year-old Southwest Guilford High School graduate who is currently interning with Project Search at Moses Cone Hospital. She plans to volunteer at Haynes Inman Education Center and Moses Cone Hospital while seeking employment in a nursing home. In her free time, Sydni Rose enjoys singing, acting, attending the theater, and spending time with close friends.
