John David Welch
as Jesus
John David is a graduating senior vocal performance major at MTSU. An active member of university and community theater troupes, he has been seen onstage in multiple ensembles. This is his final performance on the Murfreesboro stage before he moves to NYC, where he has been accepted into the Manhattan School of Music Opera Studies graduate program. He would like to thank his friends, family, this brilliant cast and his mentor/friend/co-conspirator/director Renee Robinson, for the encouragement they have given him.

Jimmy Saiz
as Judas
Jimmy, who returns to the role of Judas, is recent graduate of Belmont University and has played Horton in Seussical the Musical; J. Pierrepont Finch in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying; Conrad in Bye Bye Birdie; Beast in Beauty and the Beast; and Roger in Rent. Thanks to my friends and family for their support, especially my wonderful fiancee, the most encouraging person I know.

Natalie Klein
as Mary Magdelene
Natalie returns as Mary Magdalene and our choreographer. Her parents being musicians, she grew up dancing, singing, and acting. At age 10, she was a featured vocalist on The Young Americans' "Once In a Lullaby" album, and, at 11, performed in the album’s two-hour film production. A 2007 graduate of Cumberland University, she joined The Young Americans, performed and educated children all over the world. She now teaches dance and works as a choreographer.
