ALANA DODDS SHARP (Cynthia) - Alana is thrilled to be back on the boards and make her Generic Theatre debut with this amazing play with this incredible cast & crew. A new resident to VA Beach from NoVA, Alana holds a BFA in Acting from Wright State University and had been working as an actress in the DC metro area until the shut down. Credits include works at Arena Stage, Theatre J, and Folger Theatre and favorite roles include M’Lynn (Steel Magnolias), JoAnn (Company) and Mdm. Thenardier (Les Miserables). Elizabeth Dickerson

Elizabeth has been a dedicated Generic Theater fan going back to its days on 21st Street. Sweat is the forth Generic production she has performed in, the last one playing Diane in Little Dog Laughed. She is so happy to be back on stage having endured the Pandemic with the rest of you. Her last stage appearance was as Mrs. Jennings in Sense and Sensibility for the Virginia Stage Company in 2020. At Long Last!!! She is so grateful to Rick St. Peter for inviting her in to play with this exceptionally talented group of actors. "Stan! Pour me a beer and let's get to it!"

Corey Brown
as Chris
Corey Brown is a native of Norfolk, Virginia & is no stranger to the stage. He attended the Academy of the Arts at Booker T Washington High, and later on graduated from Norfolk State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Drama & Theatre. He has a diverse background in theatre from the roles such as Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet, to Lincoln in TopDog/Underdog. In 2021, he portrayed the role of Henson in Soldiers Play with a co-production featuring Norfolk State University Theatre Company and the Virginia Arts Festival. He is grateful to be able to be apart of this production from cast, crew, front of house, audience and all.
