Message from the Director:
Once the detective arrives at the murder scene at Boston's Colonial Theater, he discovers he has two cases to solve: fixing a bad show, and, you know, the pesky little detail of solving a murder. In his work to help develop the new musical, Cioffi learns that musicals can be just as complicated to produce as murders are to solve. Will Cioffi be able to solve the murder and save the show?!
Curtains recognizes that even the silliest of musical comedies have the power to bring out the best and worst in people. There are some crazy "show people" in Curtains! But, in general, a "show person" is just someone willing to do anything to help the team. Thank you to all the show people involved in this production—the cast, crew, production and design team, musicians, and volunteers. I hope Curtains brings out the "show person" in you too.
