The Salvation Army Times Square Corps - Theatre 315 is thrilled to officially introduce its new Open Air Threatre with this summer's production of AS YOU LIKE IT by William Shakespeare. Our Open Air Theatre performance space is located on 48th Street directly behind our church building and indoor Black Box Theatre located at 315 West 47th Street in midtown Manhattan. We are ecstatic that you have chosen to join us in this new outdoor venture...and it's just the beginning!
Since 2002 our indoor space has produced, hosted and fascilated church services, ongoing theatrical productions, rehearsals, performing arts classes for children and much, much more. In addition to all this, we are extending our work to include this new outdoor venue as well - and offer even more events for our community. The Salvation Army Times Square Corps - Theatre 315 is a community theatre within the Times Square Corps located in the heart of the Theatre District of New York City. We seek to love and serve the people of the Performing Arts community without discrimination, using theatrical stage productions as our platform and tell stories that reveal the good news of God. Our mission is to light a stage in Broadway where the Gospel is translated through the performing arts.
