    Captains Jonathan & Margaret Quatela

    Executive Producers

    Captains Jonathan and Margaret Quatela serve as Officers of The Salvation Army Times Square Corps. Hailing from Argentina, Jonathan moved to the NYC to pursue his MA in Music Arts. He worked many years as a Youth Music Director before heading into ministry as an Officer. Margaret has been an Officer since 2009 and served various communities in Vermont, Ohio and New York. In seminary Jonathan met Margaret, they married, and in August 2020 they were appointed to the Times Square Corps and are thrilled to be living in such a vibrant, artistic community. Their goal is to serve their neighbors with dignity and love, bring the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ to all, and create a safe, supportive space to encourage neighbors and build up local artists. The Times Square Corps offers Sunday Worship (3:15PM), Men and Women’s groups, Bible Study, and theatrical productions. Beginning in September, Music and theatre classes will be open to all youth. All are welcome!

    Christopher received his B.A. in Theatre and Music from Grand Canyon University and his M.A. in Communication for Film and Theatre from Regent University. He is extraordinarily grateful for this cast and crew banding together to help bring live theatre back to NYC. God bless you all! Each and every one of you are valued and loved by us here at The Salvation Army - Theatre 315! He gives very special thanks to his wife, Evie, and his three chachos, Meira Claire, Hudson Daniel and Enok Reuel.

    Barrett is a multidisciplinary theatre-maker with directing, creation, dramaturgy, andacting credits with Fire Exit Theatre, Hit & Myth, Badlands Passion Play, RosebudTheatre/Rosebud School of the Arts, Corps Bara Dance Theatre, Kompany FamilyTheatre, Theatre of Consequence, Theatre BSMT, Smoke Signal Media, AlbertaPlaywright's Network, and Rocky Mountain College. Barrett was the Managing ArtisticDirector of Alberta’s Spread the Word Theatre for seven years before obtaining his MFAin Directing from the New School University in New York City. In New York, Barrettworked with Red Bull Theater, Firebone Theatre, and the Public Theater’s EmergingWriter’s Group. Barrett is currently an Associate Professor of Theatre at AmbroseUniversity and the Chair of Ambrose Arts.
