Brad is always happy to return to the Sherman Playhouse where he has previously directed CABARET (2019), CARRIE: THE MUSICAL (2020), and two productions of WRECK THE HALLS (2021 and 2023) . Brad is the Founding Artistic Director of MUSICALS AT RICHTER, INC. in Danbury and his work has also been seen at The Downtown Cabaret Theatre in Bridgeport, The Bushnell Auditorium in Hartford, The Shubert Theatre in New Haven, both Western and Southern Connecticut State Universities and countless theatres and cabarets throughout Pennsylvania, New England and Manhattan. Al Chiappetta
Technical Director & Lighting Design
Al returned to theater for tech Sunday of Anne of Green Gables at the Sherman Playhouse after a 30+ year theatrical absence. He had no intention of resuming his technical theater endeavors that day. He has been here ever since and is now The Sherman Players’ Vice President and Technical Director. In addition to his duties at the Playhouse he is the theater technician at the Fredrick Gunn School in Washinton, CT and has been known to design lighting at other local theaters occasionally. When not in a theater he can be found relocating mountains one dump truck load at a time.
