Mary Jo Springer
Co-Director/Music Director/Lighting and Set Designer
Mrs. Springer loves her job and feels very blessed to be able to do what she loves everyday. From her days as a Music Therapist to Catholic school music teacher and band director, to the theater director and business owner that she is today- she has always enjoyed working with young people. She is immensely proud of this cast- and all the casts from the past 70+ shows that she has directed. She is also a very proud mom to her four sons, Jacob, Sean, Andrew and Ben. When she isn’t here at the theater, which is rare, she is home with her amazingly supportive husband, Jon and doggie, Bailey. Thank you for supporting TSSYT and enjoy the show!

Co-Director/Choreographer
TESSA CADIEUX-PETRIE is super excited to be here at The Springer Studio Youth Theater! This is her 23rd show she has choreographed at TSSYT, and the 2nd show she has directed . Some of her favorite shows she has worked on include Newsies, Matilda, James and The Giant Peach, Grease, and Footloose. She has traveled around the world dancing on cruise ships, but one of her favorite places is with these kids at this theater. She hopes you enjoy the show!
