Gregory Stieber
Gregory Stieber is a theatrical director, producer and actor. He studied under the acclaimed filmmaker Neil LaBute. His directing credits include A Streetcar Named Desire, 1776, To Kill a Mockingbird, Blood Wedding, Into the Woods, 33 Variations, James and the Giant Peach and Les Miserables. Gregory is co-founder, writer and director of Fort Wayne Youtheatre's Young Heroes of Conscience Series, which received the inaugural Fort Wayne Mayor's Arts Award in 2018. Among the plays that he has written and directed are The Kid from Kokomo: The Ryan White Story, Ruby Bridges, Remembering Anne Frank (based on the life of Anne Frank), Young Harriet Tubman and Helen Keller: After the Miracle. Gregory was named Artist of the Year by Arts United in 2017 and received the distinction of One of the Righteous by the Jewish Federation of Fort Wayne in 2017. He is the co-writer and director of I Will Wait. Gregory resides in Fort Wayne, IN with his husband, Jim.
