  • Samantha Simpson

    Choreographer/Producer

    is the proud Owner of Theatrical Artist's Prep in Scotch Plains, NJ. A member of SAG AFTRA since 1996 and AEA since 2004. Professional credits include various regional theatre, national commercials and guest starring roles on Gossip Girl, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, As The World Turns, as well as lead and supporting roles in feature films distributed by Lionsgate and Paramount Vantage. Samantha has studied at the acclaimed Circle In The Square under the instruction of Mr. Alan Langdon and The William Esper Studio under the instruction of Mr. William Esper. She is a two time Paper Mill Rising Star Award nominee and the recipient of the 2012 Paper Mill Rising Star Award for Outstanding Choreography/Staging of a Musical (Pippin). Samantha graduated Lambda Pi Eta with a B.A. in Communication and Media Arts from Montclair State University.

  • Beth Kasper

    Director

    has been directing young actors for over 20 years.  She created the theater program at the JCC of Central NJ while teaching preschool music there.  Beth was instrumental in growing the program which began with School House Rock, Jr. and 20 actors, but 15 years later, grew to a full production, including a small orchestra and over 60 actors.  Beth also created SAPA, the JCC’s summer camp for actors in conjunction with APA, and then transitioned it to JPAC, 3 years later.  She has been directing at the Theatrical Artist’s Prep summer camp program for 5 years and feels very lucky to be a part of its growth process.  When not directing, Beth still loves to audition and perform.  She feels staying up to date with the audition process and current theatrical environment is a very important part of working with young actors.  In 2020 Beth was asked to become the director for the TMS Players at Terrill Middle School.
