PAULINA DIFUCCI (Bonnie Boylan/Star-To-Be/Ensemble) is thrilled to participate in Annie this year as a Junior. This will be her fourth production at Tuckahoe High School and she is so excited to hit the stage once again. A little about Paulina, she has been doing NYSSMA for 6 years, is a member of the Vocal Cats singing group, and plays the violin. She is very grateful for everyone involved in the play this year including, Mr. Grasso, Mr. duChateau, Mrs. Buchanan, Crew and Pit Band. The hard work and effort put in by everyone is exponential and we hope you like the show!
MAYA SARMA (Ronnie Boylan, Ensemble) This is Maya’s fourth year in the Spring Musical. Music and singing are her passion, and she is thrilled to be performing in this year’s play. She is in 9th grade and is an active member of THS Chorus, Vocal Cats, NYSSMA, All County, and Strings. She is looking forward to continuing her work with Mr. duChateau, Ms. Buchanan, Mr. Grasso, and everyone else who participated and helped with the production! It has been such a fun experience and she has loved every second of it! Enjoy the show!
CIARA DEVITT (Connie Boylan/Ensemble) This is Ciara’s fourth show at THS. She is excited to be participating in the musical this year. She is very thankful for the hard work of the cast, crew, and teachers who all worked together on this show!
ROBERT JACKSON (Jimmy Johnson/Ensemble) Salutations, and welcome to Tuckahoe Theatre Works': Annie from me, Jimmy Johnson, also known as Robert. Robert has been graced to be cast in the Tuckahoe Theatre Works show for two years and has loved it from the start. Acting and singing in the play has been an enriching experience for him mentally and physically. He has made new friends and also has a chance to learn and improve his singing and acting skills, which could be proven useful later on in his life. Well, this is Jimmy Johnson, signing out as radio's only masked host.
MATEO HERNANDEZ FERRO (Bundles/Morganthau/Ensemble) is a senior at Tuckahoe High School, and this is his first year as a part of the play's cast. He also played the trombone for the pit orchestra in last year's production of Beauty and the Beast, and he thought it would be fun to join the actors on stage. Mateo also plays the piano and the trombone, and has participated in NYSSMA for the past 3 years and will participate again this year. He would like to thank his teachers and classmates involved in the show for making it come to life. Enjoy!
JOELYN ADELSTEIN (Apple Seller/Sound Effects Person/Perkins/Ensemble) is delighted to be a part of her third THS show! As a junior, she has previously acted in THS’s productions of Into the Woods as a bird and Beauty and the Beast as the Baker’s wife, Marie. She is also a member of Vocal Cats and likes to code in her free time. She would like to thank her family, friends, and teachers for supporting her, as well as Mr duChateau, Mr. Grasso, and Ms. Buchanan for starting a new chapter of THS theater. CHRISTIAN GERKEN (Lt. Ward/Howe) is a Junior at THS who was inspired by his cousin Michael to join the play and this will be his first year performing in a show. He is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this experience. He would like to thank Mr. D, Mrs. Buchanan, Mr. Grasso, the cast and crew of Annie, and his family for all of their support in this new endeavor.
EMIL TRINIDAD (Dog Catcher, Ickes, Ensemble) Continuing his three-year theatre run, Emil is ecstatic to keep the streak going. First cameo-ing as a selfie in 2021’s Freaky Friday, Emil has always been captivated by Musical theatre, always striving to improve his ability. He would like to thank his family, who has always encouraged him to work towards his goals. He sincerely hopes that you enjoy the show!
