In an effort to make the arts in OCPS more accessible, Anastasia will host the following special performances:
Sensory Friendly Performance - 4/14 at 10 AM
Anastasia's Sensory Friendly Performance is for those who experience sensory stimulation (sounds, sights, and emotions). Part of the magic of live theater is that unexpected things happen, so not every moment can be accounted for. Here at Horizon High School Theatre, we strive for accessibility of the arts, and we hope to bring that to the community through this performance. Listed below are the accommodations included in our sensory friendly production:
- Lower sound levels especially for any startling or loud sounds
- Lights in the theater remain on at a low level throughout the performance
- Reduction of strobe lights and lighting
- Patrons are free to talk and leave their seats during the performance
- Designated quiet area available adjacent to the theater in the lobby
- Sensory Guide and Social Narrative sent to guests after they've purchased a ticket
- Special Discounted Ticket Price discounted by 50%
ASL Interpreted Performance - 4/15 at 2 PM
- Our Saturday matinee performance will be ASL Interpreted
