UNIS Theatre stands in honour of the first inhabitants of the island of Mannahatta and our ancestors. We acknowledge the land on which the Sylvia Howard Fuhrman Theatre stands - the original homeland of the Munsee Lenape people. We honour the generations of stewards and we pay our respects to the many diverse Indigenous peoples still connected to this land.
