The Friends of University Theatre is a group of individuals and businesses that serve as a support organization for our Department, providing opportunities to connect with and support Undergraduate and Graduate students, Directors, and Designers involved in our Department's production arm known as University Theatre. Funds raised by Friends of UT provide much needed production support. This funding goes directly towards the productions and other activities associated with these events.
The Friends of the Department of Theatre and Drama is a group of individuals and businesses that enable the Department to provide assistance for Undergraduates, Graduates, Staff, and Faculty to pursue academic goals and/or professional goals that normally could not be achieved. All donors have the option of designating how their gifts are used. For example: undergraduate and/or graduate scholarships, professional development, or specific areas of interest (travel, studio needs, etc.). The Department uses undesignated gifts wherever the needs are deemed the greatest and it is often the best way for the Department to use the fund in these economic hard times.
