 Who's Who

  • Anna Mei Baker head shot

    Anna Mei Baker

    as Viola

Anna is thrilled to be making her onstage debut with University Theatre! A sophomore double-majoring in Theatre and Evolutionary Biology, she worked behind the scenes on THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (ABRIDGED) (REVISED) and STUPID F*CKING BIRD, and worked as dramaturg for IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE. She last appeared onstage last summer at the Bartell in RETURNING HOME directed by Darby Fitzsimons. She is endlessly grateful to David for this opportunity, to the cast and crew for all being absolutely phenomenal, and of course to her family for all their love and support--with an extra shout-out to her twin brother, who has never gotten separated from her in a shipwreck.

  • Addison Basurto head shot

    Addison Basurto

    as Sebastian

A graduating senior, TWELFTH NIGHT is Addison’s first ever theatre production. As a youth, his time was consumed with athletics and tomfoolery. On campus, Addison served as on-air personality DJ Addy Adds and Assistant Technical Director at WSUM 91.7. He has DJ’ed for local rappers in addition to providing music for various soirees, both for friends and student organizations alike. Although a Wisconsin native, he graduated from high school in Guam after his mother accepted an offer to teach middle school Spanish at the Naval base the summer before his senior year. Addison enjoys exercising, reading, traveling and music. He has 2 brothers and a wonderful sister who do their best to keep him in check. He graciously invites all attendees to read into the practical usage of Stoic philosophy. Finally, he would like to extend his gratitude to immediate and extended family for their unconditional and constant support.

  • Alyssa Beasley head shot

    as Chorus/Fight Captain

Alyssa is delighted to be involved in her fourth University Theatre production! She is a junior studying Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Analysis but loves to remain heavily involved in the Madison theatre community. A few of her recent credits include Musical Theatre of Madison’s A NEW BRAIN (Minister), OUT! Cast Theatre’s ROCKY HORROR, and University Theatre’s MAGIC TIME (Joan), FUGITIVE SONGS (Barret), and LEGALLY BLONDE: THE MUSICAL (Margot). She would like to thank her family and friends for encouraging her to pursue theatre in spite of a busy schedule.
