Director's Who's Who
Mrs. Sell Director, Producer, Paint, Technical Design
Mrs. Sell is no stranger to theater. In high school, she worked backstage and on flight crews for Peter Pan and Wizard of Oz. She even puppeteered for “Twoie” in Little Shop of Horrors (once in high school and once in college). She directed at North Penn School District (BC - Before Children) and after arriving at the Upper Perk School District seven years ago, started getting back into tech directing and then taking the helm last year for Into the Woods Jr. Opposite the theater, she is a seventh grade English Language Arts teacher by day and volunteers in many locations. She serves on New Ridge Fellowship tech team on sound, works as a merit badge counselor and Eagle Scout Advisor with Troop 79G and donates spare time with BASH MU (Boyertown Marching Unit) Pit Crew. She wants to thank her husband and two great kids for supporting her with prepared meals after rehearsals, talking shows, and fully supporting her all along the way. Thanks to her own “Bird Girl” for always offering her choreography and musical advice.
Ms. Jones Choreographer
Ms. Jones is excited to have been a part of the production again this year! She has had a love of dancing for all her life and has danced on stage up until her senior year of college. When she is not teaching math, Ms. Jones can be found attending book clubs, spending time with family, and traveling. Thank you to all the families and volunteers who have supported the production. Thank you to the cast and crew for all the hard work you have done.
Mrs. Martin Vocal Direction
Mrs. Martin is excited for her third show at UPMS. Mrs. Martin has loved to sing for a very long time and is so happy to help the middle schoolers sing to the best of their abilities. Throughout her education career, she had moments being involved in theater, but dove fully into theater since working at UPMS. Other than teaching general music and chorus, she is a youth leader and volunteer at LCBC Pottstown, helps with coaching both the boys and girls tennis team, advises FCA meetings, and loves to bake all sorts of goodies. To all of our supporters, thank you for what you do. We could not do this without you. To the cast and crew, there is no one you-er than you!
