Gabe Borken is absolutely beyond thrilled to be playing the role of Man in Chair in one of his favorite musicals, The Drowsy Chaperone, for his fourth WHS Theatre production! He is a sophomore at Wayzata High School and he enjoys playing the guitar, piano, filming & editing short movies, and writing musicals/plays. Gabe’s past production credits at WHS include Knock Knock? (Mr. Johnson), Broccoli Cheddar [Playwright], Episode IV: A New Demon (Charlie), and Gypsy (“Gus the Guitar Boy”/L.A.). Gabe has also been in many other productions, but more recently, Blue Water Theatre Company’s The Hound of the Baskervilles (Barrymore), Newsies (Wiesel), and Frozen Jr. (Hans). He would like to thank Mrs. Gerber and everyone in the WHS theatre department for this incredible opportunity, as well as his family and friends for always supporting him! Thank you for coming, and enjoy Gable and Stein’s The Drowsy Chaperone — a little something for when you’re feeling blue :)
