Kristine Stephens
Director
Kristine is thrilled to be in her fourth year at WBHS! This past fall, she directed A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and last year she took on CLUE and the heart warming musical Mamma Mia!. Some of her past productions in the WB district consist of Saint Joan, Urinetown, Radium Girls, and Big Fish. Before her WB career, Kristine was a professional actress in Chicago and Detroit for many years after graduating with a BFA in acting from NIU. She has also been blessed with opportunities to study and perform in Moscow, Russia; Athens, Greece; and SF, California. Going back to school to receive an MAT degree from WSU in Detroit has brought her so much joy, opening up new ways in which she can spread her passion for theatre and creative expression, as well as make a positive impact on the future generation.

John Hepper
Assistant Director
John’s passion for theater began during his freshman year when he first set foot on stage during a production of Crazy for You. When he isn’t performing with one of the local community theaters, he loves working with students as they explore and embrace their own creative expression on and off the stage. John is no stranger to working with high school students as an assistant director, and is thrilled to be in his second season at WBHS. “It is a joy to work with this incredible team of creative minds and I am so thankful for the way the performers have welcomed me with open arms. I would like to thank my wife and son for their support and patience throughout the rehearsal process, and I would like to thank Kristine, Dan, Kim, Sophia, and John V. for inviting me to work alongside them for this incredible production!”
