Amarena Roland (12th)

as Mother Abbess

Amarena is playing the role of Mother Abbess. Past roles (WHS) include Atina (Little Mermaid) and 2nd Witch (Macbeth). She would like to thank Mr. Ansley for giving her so many great opportunities throughout high school. Thank you to her family for always supporting her. She is so excited for you to see her last show here at Whitney!
Kai LaPoint (11th)

as Friedrich von Trapp

Kai is thrilled to be playing the role of Friedrich in his 2nd performance at WHS. In his 1st production he played the roles of Macduff and Banquo (Macbeth). He would like to thank the director, Mr. Ansley, for this opportunity. He would also like to thank his family and friends for their support along the way. Enjoy the show!
Michelle Khuyag (10th)

as Louisa von Trapp

Michelle is stoked to play the role of Louisa. This is her first Whitney theatre production. She’d like to thank her teachers, friends, and family for being so supportive, as well as Mr. Ansley and her cast mates for making this amazing!
Lexi Chadwick (10th)

as Brigitta von Trapp

Lexi is thrilled to be playing Brigitta von Trapp in this year's spring production of The Sound of Music. Past roles include Gryphon (Alice in Wonderland) and Seyton and First Murderer from (Macbeth). She would like to thank Mr. Ansley for his guidance and support, and all of her amazing castmates for their encouragement and help.
Justin Kuo (10th)

as Kurt von Trapp

This is Justin’s first role in a Whitney High School production, he but has experience in shows like Lion King as a featured dancer, the Sultan in Aladdin, Bofur in the Hobbit, and as a featured singer in Broadway Sacramento Galas! Justin is thankful for the support of his family and friends as well as Mr. Ansley for being a great director!
