"Think about the sun, Pippin!" We have definitely thought about Pippin and the sun over the past several weeks of rigorous music, movement, and blocking rehearsals. Throughout this process our cast and crew has accomplished many milestones including: classes, lessons, and rehearsals; beginning and ending Fall Term; and multiple ensemble performances, trips, and recruitment efforts. To say we are proud of the work of our students would be a massive understatement. To say that our students have reached for the moon and achieved the stars, maybe even flown close to the sun, is right on point. We are deeply honored to have had the opportunity to lead these remarkable students to this moment. We are honored to count so many talented and nurturing artists as collaborators and colleagues on this project as well. When we see these souls, we think about the sun. 'Sing and Serve' my darlings...Sing and Serve!
