Ta'Mari Lloyd
as Leading Player
Ta’Mari Salome Lloyd is a 2017 High Honor graduate of Murrah High School and the Academic and Performing Arts Center of the Jackson Public School District. In APAC, Ta’Mari performed in several productions including Into the Woods, Les Miserables, Wicked, Rent, and Westside Story. In the premier performance of the Children’s Music Theater Troop’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Ta’Mari performed the dual role of The Oz and Auntee Em. Her community performances include the Newman Group’s production of Moving Upstairs. She is now a Scholarship singer for Westminster Presbyterian in Hattiesburg under the direction of Micheal Ginn. At William Carey, Ta’Mari is a soprano Vocal Music Performance Major. She is a member of several campus ensembles, including Worship Choir, Indigo Musica, Carpenter’s Wood, and the prestigious Carey Chorale.
