as Mrs. Madsen
(6th Grade) Abby is very excited to be in her very first WKMS school play. She enjoys singing, soccer, and science. She enjoys baking as well. She did tap and jazz dance when she was younger and is currently taking voice lessons. Abby would like to thank the directors, her parents, and her sister, Tess, for helping her prepare to perform in the play. She would also like to thank her voice lesson teacher.

Sydney Bastian
as Estelle / Little Mermaid
(6th Grade) Sydney is very excited to act in Hans Christian Anderson. She likes how the songs and dances are challenging. Sydney has done some plays in elementary school, like The Wizard of Oz and James and the Giant Peach. In both productions, she had small parts and is thrilled to have a bigger part this year! She wants to thank her amazing Mom for convincing her to do this play and for her support.

Jennifer Baxter
as Anne Marie
(8th Grade) Jennifer has been in Mary Poppins, Jr. where she played Jane Banks, and Willy Wonka, Jr. where she played Matilda, both at WKMS. She enjoys acting, and thanks her friends and family for the experiences she has come across over these past years. Jennifer would like to share that, “Even though nobody would have preferred for COVID to happen, we all tried to make the best of it for this performance and share our imaginations with all of you!”
