Veda Cienfuegos

as Matilda Wormwood

Veda Cienfuegos, age 10, made her professional theatre debut last fall in the world-premiere musical Clint Black’s Looking for Christmas and recently played Young Juliet in Romeo & Juliet (both at The Old Globe). Outside of training, Veda loves drawing, cooking, legos and needlework - and being with loved ones, especially her brother Jove and sister Ivy (also in the show)!
Alan Ramos

as Miss Agatha Trunchbull

Alan is a theatre major at San Diego City College & is thrilled to be a part Matilda at YAT. His favorite & most recent roles have been Ram Sweeney in Heathers, and ensemble in Sweeney Todd. When Alan is not doing a show he enjoys photography, road trips, and planning adventures with friends! He would like to thank the people close to him for their motivation and support.
Kinzie Pipkin

as Miss Honey

Although Kinzie has been dancing since the age of 5, her true passion is singing & acting. Her favorite roles have been Doria Hudson in Smile The Musical (YAT), Hannah in Newsies (SDJT), Cinderella in Into The Woods (YAT) & Jane Banks in Mary Poppins (SDJT). She enjoys performing in events throughout San Diego & is a singer & model with Gretchen Productions.
Luis Sherlinee

as Mr. Wormwood

Luis is excited to be performing in his 2nd show at YAT! He's excited to be playing Mr. Wormwood, especially since he doesn’t usually get to play bad guys. Luis has done shows with CYT, Young Actors' Theatre, SD Junior Theatre, Patio Playhouse & more. He's very excited to work with an awesome group of people and production team, and hopes to help bring this show to life!
Mary Rose Vadeboncoeur

as Mrs. Wormwood

Mary Rose is thrilled to be performing in the premiere youth production of Matilda! Past YAT credits include Patrice (13), Winifred (Once Upon a Mattress), Millie (Thoroughly Modern Millie), Cat (Seussical). 2019 Broadway San Diego Best Actress award winner. Mary Rose would like to thank Chrissy & the creative team, & congratulate the entire cast for being the naughtiest!
