Joshua Hale Fialkov

In addition to being a first year teacher at YOKA, Joshua Hale Fialkov is an Emmy, Eisner, and Harvey Award nominated writer of Television, Film, Animation, and Graphic Novels, including the Netflix series AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER, NBC's CHICAGO MED, AFRO SAMURAI, and the award nominated graphic novel TUMOR. He's immensely grateful for the students involved in this production and to his incredible family for supporting him through making it. The whole play was his daughter's idea.

Mrs. Wester is a PE teacher at Young Oak Kim Academy. She enjoys coordinating and facilitating special projects that bring students and teachers joy and fulfillment.

Ms. Gonzales is an English teacher who wishes that life was a musical! Her first role was in her elementary school production of Annie as the orphan that says, “Oh my goodness, oh my goodness!” She is so happy to be the make-up artist for YOKA’s very first stage production… Bravo Dragons!
