  MEET THE CREW  

  • Colin Bokowy

    Director

    Colin is a professional performer recognized throughout the state of Illinois. Being deemed one of the top three male finalists in the 2014 "Illinois High School Musical Theatre Awards". He has been seen in multiple regional productions throughout the Northwest suburbs (Recent credits include: Dr. Orin Scrivello in Little Shop of Horrors, Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid, and Tony in West Side Story). Colin has been playing piano and studying classical, theatrical and contemporary voice for over 10 years. He studied acting, dance and trained briefly in New York City under the instruction of many Broadway actors/actresses. Colin recently graduated with his Bachelor’s in “Musical Theatre” at Columbia College Chicago

  • Connie Flores

    Producer

    Connie is the Founder and Artistic Director of Marquee Youth Stage. Since graduating from the Elmhurst College Secondary Education Theatre Program in 2003, Connie has taught theatre, directed, and produced over sixty productions to date. She's continually inspired by the transformative and humanizing power of theatre and feels blessed to take part in the process.

  • Matthew Bishop

    Music/Vocal/Pit Director

    Matthew Bishop received his degree in Music Education from the VanderCook College of Music in Chicago, IL, where he spent time focusing on instrumental and vocal pedagogy, performance, composition/arranging, and conducting. He currently works at Dundee Middle School, where he teaches choir, band, and general music for students with special needs. 

  • Monica Corbett

    Pit Manager/Rehearsal Conductor

    A graduate in Music from the University of Michigan, Monica studied conducting and composition. In 2003, Monica founded B#Sharp Music for Children and Piano for Kids. Monica’s music programs now reach over 400 students a month. Monica also enjoys arranging music and directing the Children’s Choir at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
