    Colin Bokowy

    Director

    has been seen Directing and Music Directing several productions at Marquee Youth (some credits include: Disney's The Little Mermaid, Frozen Jr., Seussical Jr., Little Women, and Newsies). He is also the resident Director of Marquee Mainstage's professional summer productions, and head instructor of the Youth Conservatory Ensemble. He has been working professionally throughout the Northwest suburbs as an actor and director, but is blessed to call Marquee home. Recent acting credits include: Dr. Orin Scrivello in Little Shop of Horrors, Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid, and Tony in West Side Story. Colin has been playing piano and studying classical, theatrical and contemporary voice for over 10 years. He studied acting, dance and trained briefly in New York City under the instruction of many Broadway actors and actresses. Colin graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor’s in Musical Theatre and minor in Directing from Columbia College Chicago.

    is happy to be working with Marquee Youth after spending 12 months conducting Grease onboard Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas. He has toured with the national tour of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, various productions of Wicked, the final band of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, and was the Music Supervisor for Carnival Cruise Lines. He has played keys for artists including Lorna Luft, Il Divo, The Foundations, Josh Groban, and Aretha Franklin. Other theatrical credits include Rent, Jersey Boys, Beauty and the Beast, Xanadu, The Color Purple, Legally Blonde, Disaster!, Cabaret, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. A career in musical theatre has allowed him the privilege of working directly with composers and creators on their shows, including Stephen Schwartz, Alan Menken, Leslie Bricusse, Seth Rudetsky, William Finn, and the great Marvin Hamlisch. Oliver received his B.S. in Arts Administration from Butler University.
