Aryia Banihashem Ahmad (Hawk) - Aryia is a freshman at Bronxville High School. She has been involved in theatre since 5th grade. Her favorite shows have included, "Honk!” and "Murder, Actually". She would like to thank the cast, the crew, and Mr. Cross for making this show such an amazing and memorable experience.
Jake Berman (Pithetaerus) -Jake is a Sophomore at Bronxville High School who has been professionally acting since a young age. Jake has been in many Bronxville productions since sixth grade as well as some off-broadway productions and Pippin the national and international Broadway tour. He would like to thank the cast, the crew, and of course Mr. Cross for making this show the stellar production that it is.
Will Bornmann (Epops) -Will is a junior at Bronxville. It's his second year in the play, with The Secret in The Wings being his first. He's very excited to be a part of this production and can't wait for everyone else to see it. He feels extremely lucky to be performing in this, otherwise, dull and scary year. William would like to thank Mr. Cross, the cast, and the crew for making this such a fun experience.
Elizabeth Burnell (Lawyer / Pithetaerus understudy) - Elizabeth is a junior at Bronxville High School. While she has participated in the high school musicals since sixth grade, this is her first play at Bronxville. Her favorite shows have been Little Shop of Horrors and Into the Woods. She has studied performing at organizations like the Play Group Theatre and the Concordia Conservatory, and she is looking forward to bringing her love of performing to our outdoor stage for the Birds!
Abigail Chang (Dodo / Internet Spammer) - Abigail is a freshman at Bronxville High School. She has done the Bronxville plays since 7th grade, and has enjoyed theatre since. She loved helping and participating in The Bird's production. She thanks the Cast, Crew, and Mr. Cross for having an amazing time working on this year's production.
Simon De Greiff Rubio (Eulpides) - Simon is a junior at BHS. He has spent most of his life in Europe, in places like Florence, Italy, and Seville, Spain (where he was born). He discovered his love for acting when he was pretty young. During his childhood in Florence, he was an alumnus in an acting class directed by one of the former students of Marcel Marceau, a world-famous mime. He then discovered his passion for filmmaking and editing, in which he can implement his acting, and has been creating videos since he was 12 years old. He has performed in all three countries he’s lived in, in fact, The Birds, a Modern Adaptation is his 9th production. He adores bringing a smile to people’s faces which is why he is thrilled to be part of this comedy, playing as Euripides. He sincerely hopes you enjoy the show as much as he enjoyed acting in it.
AJ Diaz (Hummingbird / Eulpides understudy) - AJ is a freshman at Bronxville High School. He has not done any musicals or plays in this school before. Some of his other theatre experiences include Newsies (Les), Crazy for You (Junior) and The Laramie Project (Jon Peacock). AJ hopes that the audience will enjoy the show and have a great time!
Liam Dollar (Investment Banker / Hercules) - Liam is a Junior in Bronxville. He is thrilled to be a part of his first play. He would also like to thank the cast, the crew, and Mr. Cross for making this show such an amazing and memorable experience.
