Grace Gramins (Procne) - While it may be her first year at Bronxville High School, it is definitely not her first on stage! Grace writes original music on the piano and guitar and past roles include Judy in 9 to 5 the musical, Nancy in Oliver, and Young Fiona in Shrek! At LaGuardia Performing Arts HS, she participated heavily in the drama department and was in the talent show, Rising Stars. Grace is excited and grateful to be on the stage at Bronxville. Special thanks to Mr. Cross, Olivia and Isabel for making this production happen in this crazy year!
Andrew Grossman Nieves (Passenger Pigeon) - HI, i'm Andrew. I go by GN with my friends. I play Passenger Pigeon. a hard working bird who always has to say what's on his mind even if it doesn't always turn out well.
Brooke Kaye (Kiwi / McGrauchuchuk) - Brooke Kaye is a sophomore. She has participated in two plays while in high school. Brooke enjoys reading, writing and hanging out with friends.
Gwen Kirst (Poseidon / Insurance Agent - matinee / Procne understudy) - Gwen is a member of the freshman class and this is her second time acting in the play! She's enjoyed theater ever since 6th grade, and was involved in the play '10 ways to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse' and helped direct another. She has had a wonderful time in this play, and would very much like to thank the entire cast, crew, and Mr. Cross for making this experience amazing. They all did wonderful jobs bringing this play to life, especially during these hard times.
Maggie Krieg ( Insurance Agent - evenings / Prometheus - evenings / Iris -matinee) -Maggie is a junior at Bronxville High School. She has been doing theatre since elementary school, and this is her second high school play. Last year she played Allerleira in Secret in The Wings. She feels so incredibly lucky to be working with Mr. Cross again and with such an incredible cast and crew, and she can't wait to do it all again next year!
Maya Madhavan (Iris - evenings) - Maya is a junior at Bronxville. This is her first play, but she has been acting in musicals since she was six. She has always loved being on stage! Maya has participated in several productions at Concordia Conservatory, her favorite being A Christmas Carol. Maya has also performed in the Bronxville musicals Little Shop of Horrors, Into the Woods, and currently, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Maya is thrilled to perform in The Birds and is extremely grateful to be a part of such an amazing cast!
Sophia McCarthy (Bat) - Sophia is a sophomore at Bronxville High School. The Birds is her seventh show. Her favorites include Into The Woods and The Secret In The Wings. She feels incredibly lucky to have been able to participate in The Birds during such a difficult time and she hopes that everyone will enjoy it.
Maeve McWilliams (Activist) - Maeve McWilliams is a ninth grader who is performing her first high school play! She has done all the Middle School plays including No Body to Murder and 10 Ways to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse. She has also done the elementary school musical, Peter Pan, in which she played Tinker Bell. She is happy that she is working with Mr. Cross this year and can’t wait to work with him next year!
Sarah Modesitt (Ostrich) - Sarah is a sophomore at Bronxville High School. She has participated in other Bronxville shows since elementary school such as Into the Woods and The Wizard of Oz. This is her first high school play. She has also volunteered in other productions at Random Farms as an assistant director. She would like to thank the cast, crew, and Mr. Cross for putting together a great show.
