The Little Mermaid - June 03 - June 10, 2022

HWDSB Programs of the Arts at Glendale

 Acknowledgements

This year's production combined the unique and varied talents of over 80 students, plus staff and community members. The entire Musical Theatre class would like to say a very special thank you to the following:

 - Glendale Secondary School administration as well as our HWDSB Programs of the Arts administration for their continued help and support for our unique program.

- The parents, teachers, custodians, office staff and fellow students for their support, cooperation and understanding of the huge time commitment necessary for the success of this production. Thank you for your kind words, messages, volunteering and attending our production. It means a lot to all involved.

- ArtSmART and The Prom Project for the use of some of their clothing and costumes. Costuming a double cast of this size takes a village.

- Mr. Darryl Forster and his construction class students for sharing their amazing talents and skills in the building of our set pieces.

- Mrs. Alice Flynn and her fashion class students for sharing their skills and time to help us complete our double cast of costumes for this show.

- Mr. Joshua Kraemer for helping with our cast photos, support of our projections and supporting of all our media arts related questions and concerns.

- Ms. Miminas-Borsc for....well...a lot. Especially the editing of this program and help with front of house duties.

- Mr. Chris Litfin and Mr. Luke Bramer for all their continual support and assistance with all things technical. You gentlemen are amazing!

- Mrs. Denise West for her complete and absolute support of all things that Glendale Arts does. Her cast cookies, pep talks, mermaid tails, everything. Thank you Denise.

- The MacDonald/Hill families for helping us to complete props, sets, costumes with their amazing talent and willingness to just help out.

- Ms. Heather Briskin for your beautiful fish head puppets. They are gorgeous!

- Ms. Ana Garcia for your gorgeous jellyfish, fish hand puppets, Ursula's amulet and the stunning Ursula costume. Working with a professional like you is an honour and a thrill especially as you are a Glendale Arts program graduate excelling in the field.

- Mr. Travis Stoddard, owner of Alleyway Studios, for working with us again on sound and the education of our student production majors as we have over 32 microphones in use to blend and mix.
