Max is elated to be making his debut at JDG in such a complex and beautiful show. A recent graduate of Joliet Central High School, Max is attending Columbia College Chicago in the fall to earn his BFA in Musical Theatre. Favorite roles: West Side Story (Riff), Assassins (John Hinckley), and HAIR (Woof). So much love to his incredibly supportive friends and family. JHH

Ryan Bennett
as Mark Cohen
Ryan Bennett is from Morris, Il and attended Joliet Junior College, Illinois State University, and the University of St. Francis, majoring in Vocal Performance. He is a private voice and guitar teacher, with a studio in Shorewood. Professional acting credits include the lead in Etude: the Vampire Musical. Other credits include Legally Blonde, The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Shop…, and The Pillowman.

Austin Cummings
as Tom Collins
Austin is excited to be making his JDG debut in a show as amazing as RENT. Austin is a graduate of Wilmington High School. His high school theater credits include Beauty and the Beast (LeFou), Little Shop of Horrors (Mr. Mushnik), Lucky Stiff (Harry Witherspoon), and Legally Blonde (Emmett). Austin would like to thank his parents, his brother Chris, and his girlfriend Melanie for believing in him.

Ean Schultz
as Benjamin Coffin III
Ean Schultz was born a small human. He is very excited to participate in his first JDG production. Previous shows include: Fools (Leon), 12 Angry Men (#7), Arsenic and Old Lace (Mortimer Brewster), Lend Me a Tenor (Max), Footloose (Willard). In just a few weeks Ean will be heading off to college in New York City, he will attend Marymount Manhattan College.

Samee Cannon
as Joanne Jefferson
Samee is thrilled to be a part of her favorite musical! Her theatre credits include Songs For a New World, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, West Side Story, Once Upon a Mattress, and Grease. She has also sung in several Madrigal groups. Samee would like to thank the JDG, cast, crew, and her friends and family- especially her wonderful husband, Stephen, who always believes in her.
