Lisa Battle

Teacher/Director

Lisa Battle lived and taught in NYC for 10 years and then moved back home and taught at LAHS for the past 4 years. She is an alumni of Broken Box herself and was thrilled to take the job as director last year. She got her masters in Theater Education at NYU, was an Arthur Miller Fellow, performed with the People's Theater Project, and her plays have been produced At the Barrow Group Theater and The Gesa Power House Theater.

Hi! I’m in eleventh grade, and this is my second year of Broken Box! Last year, I was sound designer, but this year I’m super exited to be set designer! This is the first show I’ve designed the whole set for, although in the past I have helped design individual set pieces. Outside of Broken Box I’m also involved in theatre, where I usually do lighting design, sound engineering, or technical direction!

Hello! I'm Aditya, a 10th grader, and I'm excited to be the Publicity Manager for this production. My role involves generating excitement for the show through social media and other means! I'm also interested in other technical aspects of theatre, such as sound design. I'm very excited to be part of this cool show :)
