    No stranger to the stage, Chris has had a love of performing from the age of 4. While his name has become familiar to most through his country band, musical theater has also been one of his hobbies. Chris started the Mifflin County Community Christmas Musical where he directed 11 Broadway-style musicals including It's a Wonderful Life and A Christmas Carol. Chris was the director of music for MCHS Drama Club's production of Grease, and was the director for last year's production of Beauty and the Beast. Chris enjoys the opportunity to work with such dedicated students.

    Matt Moore

    Technical Director

    Matt Moore is the Stage Crew Advisor for MCHS. Matt’s has been involved in production since he was in high school, from senior shows to musicals. Matt has done Audio and Lighting for Garth Brooks, Martina McBride, Highway 101, Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw and many others when they were up and coming artists at the Grange Fair.  He also handles all the production that comes to the MCHS.

    Matt also handles audio and video production for MCHS graduations. Matt just loves this part of the business, and enjoys working with students. Matt works full time for Valley View Retirement Community where he is in the IT dept. and Safety Officer for the complex. Matt enjoys spending time with his family: wife, Gina and sons Gage, Evan and Reese. 

     

    In his spare time Matt is the president of the Husky Club, the Drama Parents group and the active member of City Fire Company where he is the president. Matt is a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

    Mrs. Shearer has been an educator in Mifflin County for 37 years. She and her husband, Tom, have a total of 24 family members. This is her fourth year as Drama Club Advisor, and she's proud to have a part of bringing musicals to Mifflin County. Mrs. Shearer would like to recognize the talented student body and their parents for helping create a "practically perfect" show.
