About the Montgomery High School Band Parents Association
The MHS Band Parents Association is dedicated to providing support for all band programs at MHS. One of their goals is to provide scholarships and gifts to the senior class every year. The Band Parents also provide assistance in the form of volunteers, baking cookies and sponsoring fundraising activities. The senior class would like to thank Mrs. Rasheeda Pretto, MHS-BPA President, and all of the Band Parents for all of the work they do on behalf of the music students here at Montgomery High School.
About the Montgomery Township Education Association
The MTEA is a professional organization made up of over 600 staff members who are employed by the Montgomery Township School District. This year the MTEA will be presenting $6,000 in scholarships to the senior class. Tonight’s performance is sponsored through the New Jersey Education Association’s “Pride in Public Education” program. This program is intended to help local associations sponsor activities that will benefit the community as well as demonstrate the quality educational programming being offered to students in our public schools. Through this program the MTEA also takes a very active role in supporting local school districts’ budgets.
The cast, crew and orchestra would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to both the MTEA and the NJEA for making tonight’s performance possible and for their continued efforts aimed at improving the quality of education for our students.
