Caleb Broadhurst

as Maximillian, Narrator 3

Caleb James Broadhurst is proud to be working with Music Theater Works. He is 13 years old and enjoys acting, playing guitar, and spending time with his friends. Caleb has played the role of Shrek in SHREK: THE MUSICAL, The King in THE KING AND I, Buddy in ELF, and Victor in COMIC BOOK ARTIST. Caleb aspires to be an actor when he's older and hopes you enjoy the performance.
Olivia Doran

as Queen, Narrator 2

CANDIDE is Olivia’s first teen production with Music Theater Works, though she started with this program in sixth grade. Born in Evanston, she plays the flute and was in Advanced Drama at Chute Middle School. Olivia will be starting high school at ETHS and she hopes to be in the spring musical. She thanks her family and Music Theater Works for sparking her interest in musical theater.
Paula Fiegl

as Paquette, Narrator 4, Dancer

Paula is excited to be part of her third production with Music Theater Works. Outside of this program she has participated in productions of SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL, JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, FOOTLOOSE, and THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE. She enjoys dancing and singing, as well as spending time with her friends and family. Paula is so thankful to the dedicated cast and staff of CANDIDE!
Jacqueline Isaacson

as Old Woman

Jacqueline is thrilled to be in her second Music Theater Works teen production. Some of her favorite recent roles include Mrs. Higgins in MY FAIR LADY, Eponine in LES MISERABLES, and Rapunzel in INTO THE WOODS. She would like to thank her teachers, friends, and family. Most importantly, she appreciates the support of her mother, Gloria, and Andrea.
Jane Klein

as Grand Inquisitor, Narrator 9

Jane is an incoming freshman at New Trier High School. She has been singing since she was little, and has been in choir for two years. She likes to dance and act. Jane has done seven of the Summer Workshops with Music Theater Works, and this is her second Teen Workshop production. In 2016, she was Lady Boxington in MY FAIR LADY. She has taken voice lessons with Emily Glick for the last year.
