"A FLAME FROM WITHIN" is a two act drama that attempts to take a look at
various relationships and cycles which dramatically affect the Black Community,
but could just as easily fit the general framework of any ethnic neighborhood.
Some of these issues include the lack of positive Black role models in the home,
the rampage of drugs and crime throughout the community which inevitably
leads to an increase number of youths becoming educationally or socially
illiterate, incarcerated for for lengthy periods of time, or dead. Finally, with
Romans 8:38-39 as its scriptural base, A FLAME FROM WITHIN concludes with
a message of hope and persuasion based upon the love and the shed blood of
Jesus Christ and that He and He alone is the way, truth, and the light for our
problems that we face.
