Through its catchy songs, dazzling dance routines, and intriguing characters, Chicago tells the tale of two rival vaudeville performers, Velma Kelly and Roxie Hart, who find themselves entangled in a web of fame, crime, and the pursuit of justice. Through the power of music and dance, Chicago brings to life the glitz and glamor of the Jazz Age while exploring themes of corruption, celebrity, and the pursuit of the American Dream. This program allows the students a place to learn about the complexity of theater and the experience it can bring to an audience. Your enthusiasm and love for what each of you brings to the stage is inspiring. To the seniors, it will not be easy to see you graduate and move on from our stage at Oyster Bay High School. You have been an integral part of this program for a very long time. Thank you for being role models for the younger members of the production.
