Jeannine Manthey

Violin/Viola

Jeannine began playing violin at age 9 in the PSUSD. She was a member of the All-District Orchestra for two years. In 9th grade, Jeannine auditioned and was accepted into the All-American Youth Symphony. In HS she was a member of the Anderson Talent Program Orchestra occupying the concertmaster chair for two years. She studied with Eugenia Slahor for two years, and Thomas E Mancini for two years. While attending College of the Desert she studied with George Montgomery. Jeannine has been a member The Desert Youth Symphony, The Desert Symphony, Redlands Symphony and San Bernardino Symphony. Her real passion is playing in "pit orchestras" for musicals. She has played in ANNIE, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, SOUND OF MUSIC, DAMN YANKEES, CINDERELLA, PETER PAN, OLIVER, CAMELOT, OKLAHOMA, ANYTHING GOES, SUGAR, EVITA, LES MISERABLES, PHANTOM OF THE OPERA and many more. Every year she returns to PSHS to assist them with their musical production.
Arturo (Branden) Figueroa

Violin

Arturo (Branden) Figueroa is a senior at Palm Springs High School. He is the Cocnert Master in the Symphonic Orchestra and plans to attend the University of Redlands for music education next year.
Vanessa Zavala

Violin

Vanessa Zavala is currently a senior at Palm Springs High School and this is currently her third year playing in the PSHS Symphonic Orchestra. Being involved in music has become her motivation in developing as an individual to help contribute to the community. She is pleased to be a part of her first and last musical production of her high school career.
Lizandro Ramirez

Viola

Lizandro has been playing Viola since his Freshman year of HS and is currently a Junior at PSHS. This is Lizandro's second musical, the first being PSHS's 2015 production of "Fiddler on The Roof." He would like to thank his friends and family and most importantly his music director Dr. Jason Powell for encouraging him to pursue music and helping him discover the beauties music has to offer.
