This play is set hundreds of miles away from Postville in a fictional town in a state we've never been to. Yet, we've always felt like we knew this place, like we had been there before. Almost is a small town and everyone knows everyone. The people are kind and hardworking. The winters are cold and long. Almost doesn't seem that different from Postville, if you take away our cornfields and replace them with potato fields.
Above all, this play is all about love: finding it, losing it and everything in between. This is a theme we can all relate to, which makes the story and characters so easy to connect with. There's a little bit of magic mixed in there, as well. So, sit back, relax and tune out the world for a couple of hours, as we welcome you to Almost, Maine.
