Minus Some Buttons - January 29 - February 06, 2021

Riverfront Playhouse

Putting together our production of "Minus Some Buttons" has been been a unique experience. Some of our challenges included: zoom auditions, virtual rehearsals, projecting more than usual due to face masks, restricting the number of people working both on stage and behind the scenes, figuring out the logistics of streaming, and missing the energy and feedback of a live audience. It's been tough, but it's also been a lot of fun. For all of us involved in the production, we've been away from the theater for a long time, and it feels good to be back, even in limited capacity.
I can't thank this cast enough for their dedication and patience while I figured some logistics out. It hasn't always been smooth sailing, but I'm very proud of what we've accomplished here. I also want to thank the Riverfront Playhouse, our crew: Gene, Tim, Lynn, Brian, Sarah K. and Christian for their tremendous help putting this show together, and of course my wonderful assistant director Sarah who has been a massive help all the way.
And, of course, we all sincerely thank you, the patrons and supporters of the Riverfront Playhouse. Your support encourages us to work hard and have fun, and really makes us enjoy performing. We can't wait to have you back in the theater, but for now we hope you enjoy this show from the comfort of your own home!
