Mya Fogle
as Matilda Wormwood
Mya Fogle, who plays Matilda in Matilda the Musical Jr. is excited to take part in this years musical. She is in 8th grade and loves showing kindness to others any time of the day. She was encouraged by her friends and family and is so grateful for their support. Mya enjoys helping others, and volunteering outside of school. She enjoys taking singing lessons and learning new dances.

Penny Lee
as Amanda
Penny Lee, who is playing the role of Amanda Thripp, is extremely excited to take part in the wonderful cast of Matilda the musical. A 7th grader at Rugby Middle, she enjoys reading, writing and art. She played the role of number 17 in the production of Box, but this is her very first musical, and she is ready to take the stage! Her favorite subjects are ELA and Social Studies. Penny would like to thank her teachers, directors, friends, and everyone else who encouraged her to take a step into acting. A very special thank you to her parents and her brother, Roman. She is very grateful that you always believed in her. She would also like to shout out to all her friends in the play, who continue to push her forward.

James Alexander
as Bruce
James Alexander is in 8th grade and this is his 2nd musical as Bruce a litle kid. He has had a great time getting to know the cast and practicing almost everyday. He hopes that everyone will love this musical and have a great time. He is a percussionist in the Rugby band and he joined last year. He got his love of acting from his sister Allyce Alexander after she encouraged him do do Finding Nemo Jr. last year where he played the role of Marlin.
