as Logainne Schwarzandgrubenierre
is a junior day student who is involved in Model UN and plays softball. This will be her third production at Salem Academy and she is so excited to be a part of the Spelling Bee and to wear her magnificent bow tie. Previous roles include Rafiki in The Lion King, Jr. and Edward in Sense and Sensibility. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing piano, making jewelry, origami and other crafts. Her favorite words are detrimental and zenzizenzizenzic which is the mathematical notation representing a number to the eighth power.

Maggie Dees
as Douglas Panch
is a senior boarding student, and is so excited to be a part of this show! This is her fifth show at Salem Academy. Her previous shows include Mary Poppins, The Ghost Train, Sense and Sensibility, and Communicating Doors. When Maggie is not doing theatre, she enjoys playing basketball, volleyball, hanging out with her friends and family, and drinking coffee. She has had such a fun time on this show, and hopes you enjoy it as much as she does! Her favorite word is chirosophist.

as Olive Ostrovsky
is very happy to be a part of this production! She is a junior day student and this is her sixth production at Salem Academy. Her favorite previous roles include Teddie in The Ghost Train (Salem Academy), Julian Goodman in Communicating Doors (Salem Academy), and Squirmy the Musical Tapeworm in Employees Must Wash Hands... Before Murder (Forsyth Country Day School). As this is a spelling bee, she would like everyone to know that her favorite word is “flibbertigibbet.” In her free time, Mira enjoys singing (to her cats), stabbing people (fencing), and listening to indie pop (much to her parents’ disappointment).
