  • Amanda Montoni

    Director and Choreographer

    Amanda Montoni (Director/Choreographer) is a Director, Choreographer, and Performer around Queens and Long Island. Direction credits include Beauty and the Beast Jr., The Wedding Singer. SHS Choreography credits include Brigadoon, Phantom of the Opera, Beauty and the Beast. She is the received the Josephine Foundation Choreographer of the Year Award for her work on Cabaret (2016) & She Loves Me (2017). Performance credits: Seussical (Cat in the Hat), The King and I (Tuptim), Spamalot (Patsy). She is a co-founder/board member of Royal Star Theatre in Queens. royalstartheatre.org. She teaches dance and musical theatre at Gold Coast Arts Center & J-J’s Dance Studio. Her collections include Trains, New York, and the Love (or lack thereof) That Goes Along With Them, and the soon-to-be-released Thoughts While Singing. amandamontoni.com. She thanks her family for their endless support and as always, she dedicates this show to her late Grandpa Al and Grandma Barbara. 

  • Christina Russo

    Vocal Director

    is a Long Island-based mezzo-soprano who has had the joy of working with the Sewanhaka students for the again this year. Christina has degrees in vocal performance (B.S. Hofstra University) and opera performance (M.M. Binghamton University).  The role of Vocal Director for this production has been exciting and challenging! Congratulations on a beautiful production to everyone involved!

  • Christopher Doherty

    Music Director

    is the conductor of tonight’s Pit Orchestra. He is thrilled to have conducted such shows at Sewanhaka High School as Titanic, Les Miserables In The Heights and Brigadoon. He is the Chairperson of Music, Band Director, and a freelance performer on French Horn and Guitar. He is the proud papa of Ellie and Eva and husband of Award winning costumer Chakira Doherty!
