After a career as an investigator/prosecutor/trial lawyer, fate brought James to acting. He taught English in a Ugandan orphanage, searched for and found his extended family in Ukraine, and was a pastoral care worker in a Philly hospital. James and his wife Sandy met in jail (true), and have 3 daughters and 6 grandchildren. He is a graduate of NY's William Esper Studio.
