    Ms. Zyla is marking year ten of teaching, directing theatre, and coaching the Speech & Debate Team at PHS.  Some recent favorites include Carrie, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Clowns with Guns, & Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind.   She is thrilled to have her daughter onstage this year! Zyla would like to thank her family, Dino, Curie the cat, and pasta.  She would like to go to the beach now, please.

    Music Director

    Devin is from Cleveland, Ohio, where he participated in community theaters and choirs. He holds a Bachelors of Arts in Music with emphasis in Voice and Conducting from Ohio University's School of Music. He's currently serving as the Development Director at Ohio Valley Summer Theater, in Athens Ohio. Devin's most recent Music Directing/Directing credits include: Sister ActInto the Woods, Spelling Bee, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Beauty and the Beast, Spring Awakening, Pippin, Godspell, Hairspray, and The Addams Family Musical. Devin is a Music Director in other community organizations as well, including Ohio Valley Summer Theater, ABC Players, The Actors Guild of Parkersburg, Athens High School, and others. Devin is very excited to be working with these talented actors again!! He would like to thank Carter and Ms. Zyla for all the support and creative energy during this run.

    Technical Director

    John has assisted PHS in many technical endeavors throughout the years.  He joined the production staff for both Once upon a Mattress and Carrie. In addition to his many credits both on and offstage, he is also the proprietor of Professor Bubblemaker's Eclectic Entertainments.  Look for him at a fair near you and at!

  • Abby Hines head shot

    Abby Hines

    Assistant Choreographer

    Abby (fr) is also serving as co-house manager.  She was previously seen on our stage in the competitions how Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind. She is a dancer with Gel's and spends about twelve hours a week at the studio.  Abby has enjoyed working with the cast and hopes to add many more PHS productions to her resume.
